- Course Description: The 5K Run begins and finishes at Alter High School and includes the residential neighborhood around the high school. The course is flat and fast and finishes in front of the Alter Knight.
- Awards: Top female and top male racers. Recognition to the top male and top female runner in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 - 20, 21 - 30, 31 - 40, 41 - 50, 51 - 60, 61 and over.
- Day of Race Registration: Shirts (if available) and Number pick up: 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., August 30.

No baby strollers, in-line skates, dogs or headphones in the race.

Kids Fun Run: Prior to the 5K Run, a separate Kids Fun Run for two age groups: Six and under, and 7-10 run 2 laps. All Fun Runners receive a ribbon. Race begins at 8 a.m. on the Jack Ward Track behind Alter High School. Fee (does not include T-Shirt): 1 runner - $8; 3 or more runners/same family - $20; Kids Fun Run: 1 runner - $5; 2 runners/same family - $9; Family fee (3 or more runners, same family) - $12 |
